SHELBY RAMIREZ
Shelby Ramirez is an editorial photographer and photojournalist based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. A proud member of the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA), Shelby owns and operates a full-service photography studio while also traveling nationally to cover editorial and documentary assignments.
With a background in psychology from the University of Phoenix, Shelby brings a unique perspective to visual storytelling, combining technical skill with an understanding of human behavior and emotion. Since beginning a professional photography career in 2023, Shelby has steadily advanced within the field, building a portfolio that reflects both creative vision and journalistic integrity.
Shelby frequently works in major cities such as Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and Washington, D.C., and enjoys collaborating with clients and publications across the country.

My current goals include working with brands that have a strong emphasis on their brand’s creative identity, traveling globally, and competing in photography competitions domestically.
I’m currently working on my first book, projected to be available in 2026.
